8000 series Center Pivot

The Premier Valley® Center Pivot Provides Precision Irrigation for All of Your Fields

Whether it’s said over coffee at their favorite diner or at the dinner table, Valley® growers call the 8000 series center pivot the “Cadillac” of the pivot industry. It doesn’t matter if your field is large or small, you can rely on our 8000 series pivot to help you manage your farming operation and give you something positive to talk about.

Options for Valley 8000 series Center Pivots

Valley is offering new pivot point riser and lower elbow options. Now you have the option to integrate a Seametrics Flowmeter or Nelson Valve into the riser pipe, helping you meet regulatory or management needs in a compact installation. And, you can also choose a Clemons filter option instead of a lower elbow to ensure debris in your irrigation water doesn’t plug your sprinklers, giving you consistent water application throughout the growing season. Available on all standard and high profile Valley pivot points.

Why Should I Invest in the Longest Span in the Industry?

Fewer drive units per machine •  Reduced per-acre costs
•  Requires one less set of tires, gearboxes, and motors
•  Fewer wheel tracks in the field — less crop damage
•  One less center drive motor to operate — lower energy costs
Reduced maintenance costs •  Less oil to change in the wheel and center drive gearboxes
•  Fewer tires to keep inflated
•  Fewer U-joint pucks to check and replace
•  Fewer worn tower box contractors to replace
•  Fewer weather-checked tires to replace
Durability and reliability Valley engineers designed and tested the 225' span to withstand the most demanding strength and durability tests in the industry. These spans meet the same performance standards as all other Valley spans.

Myths about the Longest Span in the Industry

A longer span means more weight, which means deeper wheel tracks. Wheel tracks are affected by ground pressure (the tire pressure, plus 2 PSI, plus the tire width and tread style), not the span weight. Span weight for the 225' span is similar to the 160' span
Higher sensitivity to wind resistance Valley engineers simulate high winds by tipping the span until it rolls over. The performance of these spans was equivalent to shorter spans.
